Margot Robbie Says She was Mortified When Photos of her Playing Barbie Went Viral

Margot Robbie has revealed she was left ‘mortified’ after photos of her filming Barbie in a mulitcoloured unitard and neon yellow roller-skates went viral.

The Australian actress, 32, is playing the eponymous role in Greta Gerwig’s upcoming moving about the famous doll that’s come to life.

Appearing on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the former Neighbours star said the publication of photos of her filming at Venice Beach in Los Angeles with Ryan Gosling was the ‘most humiliating moment of her life’.

‘I was like, “This is the most humiliating moment of my life,” she added.

‘I knew we had some exteriors to shoot in LA. I knew ok, once you’re doing exteiors, you’re going to get papped.

‘There’s probably going to be a little crowd of people who are going to take notice because we stand out a little in those outfits,’

‘So I knew there was going to be a little attention, and probably some photos would get out there, but not like it did. It was like mad, it was like hundreds of people watching.’

Margot appeared on the chat show to promote her latest film Amsterdam and also wished Jimmy a happy 48th birthday – bringing him some Australian fairy bread.

The star took part in a game of Blow Your Mind and admitted she was only playing the game because it was his birthday.

The game saw Questlove read out a ‘mind-blowing fact’, which Margot and Jimmy then had to decide if it was true or false.

A wrong answer resulted in a blast of air from a tube in front of their face.

Margot got blasted after she wrongly agreed there are more McDonald’s in the United States than libraries.

For her appearance on the show, Margot donned an Alessandra Rich polka dot dress with a plunging neckline.
