David A. Arnold Comedian & Creator of Nickelodeon’s ‘That Girl Lay Lay’ Passed Away at 54

The creator, executive producer, and showrunner of the popular Nickelodeon series “That Girl Lay Lay,” David A. Arnold, has died. He had two Netflix stand-up specials. The revelation was announced as being true by the entertainer’s family,

who is 54. Sadly, we must inform you that David A. Arnold, our husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly. Doctors have determined that David’s death was caused by natural causes. He died peacefully today in his home.

We are all stunned and grieved by this loss, so kindly keep our family in your prayers and respect our privacy at this difficult time. This loss has shocked and saddened us all. Arnold discussed his comedy career with Jalen Rose for his monthly New York Post column.
