Now that the future Hall of Famer is starting, the Houston Astros are set to play against the Los Angeles Angels on Saturday night. The game is Verlander’s first start after he had to sit out for serious time in 2020 and ’21 due to injury.

But now, Verlander has recovered and is back on the bump. And we’re glad to see him looking better than ever.

It was three up, three down for Verlander in the first. This included a strikeout of the reigning American League MVP, Shohei Ohtani.
